Who we are
Although it may be a cliché, the members of the Institute of Humanities "Angel Ayala"-CEU form a large family, formed by different specialties, spread over three university centers (Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona), united, from our particular idiosyncrasies, personality and knowledge, for the same purpose: to bring to our students and staff within our reach a rational analysis of reality in its various facets from the perspective of Christian humanism and the teachings of the Catholic Church about man, his meaning and transcendent destiny. Such is the purpose of our vocation, which we develop through a series of cross-cutting subjects present in all the degrees of CEU universities, as well as social action practices, dissemination and analysis conferences, or testimonies related to the most pressing challenges and issues of the present time.
